Pump issues
Pump Failure
Pump failure can stop pitch movement from behaving as intended. It often escalates from smaller performance deviations into a sudden loss of pressure delivery. The operational consequence is typically unplanned downtime and periods of lost wind energy.

Understanding the Problem
Why does pump failure have a high operational impact?
The pump supports pressure supply across the pitch hydraulic system. When pump performance drops, the system may compensate more frequently and become less stable under load. If the pump can no longer deliver the required pressure or flow, pitch response may be limited or unavailable, and turbine operation can be affected immediately.

Solution
Pump upgrade
A pump upgrade strengthens pressure delivery when the current pump no longer behaves consistently under operational load. The upgraded version is selected to address known performance patterns and support steadier hydraulic behaviour during pitching. This helps reduce repeated minor interventions and supports more stable turbine response in changing wind conditions.
