A new platform for reducing lost wind energy

We have recently introduced a new identity and platform at United Wind. This is not a visual update alone. It reflects how we work—and how we believe wind turbine performance can be improved over time. At its core, the change is simple: to make it easier to reduce lost wind energy.

Why we changed the brand

Over time, we have seen the same patterns across turbine platforms and sites.

Recurring issues.
Repeated interventions.
Downtime that could often have been avoided.

In many cases, the underlying causes are already known somewhere—
but the knowledge is not shared, not applied, or not accessible at the right moment.

We have therefore simplified our identity to United Wind—
to more clearly reflect how we work with knowledge in motion: bringing experience into play across sites, operators and partners to develop better solutions together.

This approach challenges the idea of relying on standard replacement intervals and legacy practices, and instead focuses on continuously improving how turbines are maintained and operated.

Improving turbine performance is rarely about isolated actions.
It is about understanding, collaboration and applying experience where it matters.

From brand to platform

The new website is built to support that way of working.

It is not intended as a presentation layer, but as a practical resource for operators, technicians and engineers working with wind turbines.

The platform brings together:
cases, technical insights, repair approaches and operational experience from across turbine types and environments.

At the same time, it provides access to tools such as repair kits, guidance and training material through the customer portal.

The aim is to make relevant knowledge easier to access—and easier to apply.

Knowledge in motion

The platform is built around a single principle:
knowledge in motion.

Most turbine-related challenges are already understood somewhere.
What creates value is the ability to move that knowledge to where it is needed.

Experience from one turbine, one repair or one site should not remain isolated.
It should be shared, refined and used to improve decisions elsewhere.

That is how recurring issues are reduced over time.

What you can expect

Going forward, the platform will continue to expand with new material based on real field work.

This includes:
detailed cases, technical observations, repair strategies and access to relevant tools and components.

All content is grounded in practical experience and focused on improving turbine operation over time.

The intention is not to present theory, but to share what works.

Explore the platform

You are invited to explore the new platform and the material already available.

If you would like access to additional resources—including repair kits, technical guidance and training material—you can request access to the customer portal.

Visit us at WindEurope

To mark the launch, we’re joining Danish Export Association at WindEurope in IFEMA, Madrid on April 21st – 23rd at the Danish Pavilion. It’s an opportunity to meet the team, see the platform and continue the conversation in person. We look forward to seeing you.

Stay updated

We will continue to share new cases, insights and practical solutions as they are developed.

Improving wind turbine performance is rarely about a single intervention.
It is the result of applying experience consistently over time. By making knowledge easier to access—and easier to act on—
we aim to support more stable operation and reduce lost wind energy across turbine fleets
